Main conflict starts with Wenceslas being imprisoned so head straight into Kuttenberg where youll get familiar with the new combat system, grab whatever weapons you can find early cause youll need em. Good setup is mixing short weapons like swords with longer range stuff especially the new crossbows and early guns, just remember arrows are still way faster to reload. Watch for the green shield icon when fighting, thats your perfect parry window and definitely worth learning, since bigger battles get pretty intense.

Most historically accurate stuff happens around the city which is super cramped and confusing at first but makes sense for the time period. Keep an eye on quest markers since its easy to get lost between buildings, and the whole Sigismund invasion story plays out pretty naturally while youre exploring. Might be interesting to know that all the fighting styles and weapons are actually based on real medieval techniques, and the game doesnt mess around with fantasy elements at all.

Running into characters like Jan Žižka means youre dealing with actual historical figures, just remember your actions have consequences and crimes leave permanent marks on your character. Combat feels tougher than before but stick with it cause thats how medieval fighting actually worked, just way more brutal and messy than most games show it.
