Sorry no third-person option in the main game, it's locked to first-person for that authentic immersive feel. The only time you'll see your character from behind is during cutscenes and dialogue moments, which makes sense for storytelling. Combat, exploring, and pretty much everything else stays in first-person view to keep you fully in the moment

Good to know: while the original game got some third-person mods from dedicated players, they weren't officially supported and messed with the combat mechanics a bit. Might see the same thing happen here eventually but don't count on it working perfectly

The devs are pretty firm on keeping the first-person perspective since it's core to their design philosophy, so better get comfortable seeing the world through your character's eyes its actually pretty engaging once you get used to it
