Those big maps like asylum and prison can be pretty intense during hunts, but i've picked up some tricks that make surviving a lot easier. First thing you wanna do is get familiar with the layout, since getting lost is basically a death sentence. I usually take a few minutes at the start to scout important spots and maybe mark them on the map in the truck.

Keeping your sanity up is super important cause these places drain it crazy fast, like 10% every minute in the dark which is brutal. I always bring a bunch of candles and sanity pills, and try to keep lit areas along my escape routes. Something i learned the hard way is that having backup hiding spots is crucial, cause sometimes your go-to spot might be blocked or the ghost might remember where you hid last time.

For actual hunts, i've found that looping around big objects like tables or cell blocks works pretty well if you cant make it to a hiding spot. Smudge sticks (or incenses) are absolutely lifesavers, giving you those precious extra seconds to get away. You might wanna set up some sound sensors too, they help track where the ghost is moving without having to risk getting close.

A good tip that took me forever to figure out is that ghosts can track any electronic equipment within 7.5 meters during hunts, so make sure to switch everything off when things get spicy. Also, those uv footprints on door handles can actually tell you where the ghost has been checking, which is pretty handy for knowing which areas to avoid. Just remember to keep moving between hiding spots if the ghost spots you, cause they tend to check places where they've seen people before.
