i wanted to learn more on how these extreme weather events that drain the hell out of my life support systems so i can prepare better. is there any correlation to the principle or. just. pure. you know... rng???

Start by checking your thermal systems since extreme weather patterns follow some interesting science-like rules. Your basic protection modules work with virtual temperature changes, watching for those heat spikes during intense storms. Temperature and pressure interact a lot like real atmospheric systems, so having heat capacitors ready when things get wild is super important. The atmospheric harvester actually uses these principles, pulling gases more efficiently when the pressure builds up right.
During the nastier weather events, you'll notice how moisture and temperature feed into each other making storms more intense. Pretty neat how the protection systems start failing faster when multiple effects stack up - its basically copying real thermodynamics where energy moves around and creates chain reactions. If youre caught in extreme conditions, remember that your equipment degrades based on these combined effects, not just pure temperature or toxicity alone.
Tip - setting up backup protection modules helps handle those entropy spikes when storms really kick in. The whole system tries to mirror actual atmospheric physics even if its simplified, so thinking about real weather patterns can help predict when things might get dangerous. The gas harvesting mechanics especially follow these rules, so timing your collections around pressure changes makes a big difference.

so we all the game generate a lot of fauna and flora and im just mesmerized by how large in volume usually not to mention the planets and star systems i lost count to. Is there any correlation to quantum wave function or

im curious how the ftl shenanigans work like with planet to planet travel and when you warp to another star system

is there any correlation or is hello games just slapping some rng/procedurally generated stuff? those vykeen gek and korvax are interesting finds whenever i feel lonely

remember the planetary archives when you visit a planet or i think in some places when u enter the grand portal from the anomaly? im curious about that

does this matter cuz whenever i visit literally any planet theres bound to be predators and preys and theyre pretty interesting to see play out (i loot them with raw meat anyways haha)
