what do you think is the lore behind being able to use teleporters whenever wherever and just really really fast? does hello games released any notes for this or interesting storyline based off of quantum physics?
mepmep
I think i know what we're dealing with here when it comes to teleporters. They're basically a really convenient way to zip around between places you've already discovered, though they work pretty differently from what scientists are doing with quantum teleportation in real life
The ones you'll find are pretty straightforward to use. Once you unlock the teleport module through missions or grab the blueprint with salvaged data, you can travel to any space station or base you've previously visited. Your starship comes along for the ride too which is nice and you don't need any resources to actually use them, though building one at your base needs some basic materials like metal plating and carbon nanotubes
Here's something interesting about real quantum teleportation though - it's actually about moving information between particles using something called quantum entanglement, not beaming physical objects around. Scientists have managed to do it with tiny things like photons and atoms, but we're nowhere near teleporting anything bigger. It needs special particles that are linked together and can only send information at the speed of light, which is pretty different from just picking a spot on the map and showing up there instantly
The teleporters you'll use are more like a fast travel system really, designed to make exploration easier without worrying too much about the science behind it. Just remember that some destinations might drop off your list if you visit too many new places, and those outlaw systems can sometimes be tricky with their teleporter restrictions
No Man's Sky is a game about exploration and survival in an infinite procedurally generated universe.

so we all the game generate a lot of fauna and flora and im just mesmerized by how large in volume usually not to mention the planets and star systems i lost count to. Is there any correlation to quantum wave function or

i wanted to learn more on how these extreme weather events that drain the hell out of my life support systems so i can prepare better. is there any correlation to the principle or. just. pure. you know... rng???

since you know there are -llions of them idk if its quintillion or quadrillion but i certainly know thats a lot (and also a lot lot impressive in my opinion)

im curious how the ftl shenanigans work like with planet to planet travel and when you warp to another star system

is there any correlation or is hello games just slapping some rng/procedurally generated stuff? those vykeen gek and korvax are interesting finds whenever i feel lonely

remember the planetary archives when you visit a planet or i think in some places when u enter the grand portal from the anomaly? im curious about that

does this matter cuz whenever i visit literally any planet theres bound to be predators and preys and theyre pretty interesting to see play out (i loot them with raw meat anyways haha)
