Start in any system and speed towards the larger asteroid clusters, they're usually the ones packed with good resources. When youre scanning watch for the blue markers since those are your tritium-rich targets, which you definitely want to stock up on first. Weird thing is sometimes these fields get super unpredictable, especially during space storms or when pirates show up trying to catch you off guard while mining (really depends if they actually coincide).

The really interesting stuff happens near planets or in those strange anomalous systems where asteroids bunch up in crazy patterns. Keep an eye out for those extra-dense clusters, they often hide platinum and other valuable minerals. If you spot something that looks different from regular rocks, might be worth checking out since some asteroids actually contain living creatures or can attract those living frigates.

Tip - scanning constantly is worth it because the fields keep changing and sometimes youll discover rare resource pockets or special formations that weren't there before. The whole thing runs on special algorithms so every system generates its own unique patterns, making each mining run feel a bit different from the last.
