Using monster droppings (or dung in-game) is actually pretty straightforward, once you know what you're looking for. The main thing youll want to focus on is crafting dung pods, which are super helpful for controlling those chaotic multi-monster situations. When you spot a monster pack thats giving you trouble, toss one at the strongest one to scatter the group and make your life easier.
Getting into the nitty-gritty, keep an eye out for those dung beetles rolling their pods around, since they make excellent slinger ammo that'll send monsters running when you need a breather. A really interesting trick is combining these with endemic life like paratoads or nitrotoads, which can create some pretty wild chain reactions if you time it right.
While you cant directly analyze the droppings for specific weaknesses, you can learn a lot by paying attention to where monsters hang out. If you see them comfortable around nitrotoads, they're probably tough against blast damage, but might be weak to ice or water instead. Same goes for herbivores near sleeptoads, they tend to be vulnerable to wake-up attacks, which is pretty handy to know when planning your strategy. Its all about watching how monsters interact with their environment rather than just looking for obvious signs.
The unbridled force of nature runs wild and relentless, with environments transforming drastically from one moment to the next. This is a story of monsters and humans and their struggles to live in harmony in a world of duality.
