Camp stuff only changes looks and doesnt do anything to resources or creature spawns in the area. You can customize tent colors patterns furniture and even background music but its all just for show really. Something neat to know, theres this whole glamper thing you can unlock by making your camp super nice

The camp basics like restocking gear switching and fast travel work the same no matter what just keep in mind the different safety levels since those actually matter. Like if you set up in a dangerous spot monsters might wreck your camp, but that doesnt change how resources or endemic life work around it at all
