so question about lamarckian evolution because i noticed when i fight uth duna the monster seems to be... adapting to my attacks?

Let's look at how these creatures adapt during your hunts its actually pretty clever once you understand the systems at work. When you're fighting them they'll start showing wounds that glow which is more than just visual feedback, they'll actually guard those spots or change how they move around. Something interesting to note is that if you damage their legs theyll start limping and might get more aggressive to compensate
The way they react in groups is fascinating too since each monster thinks for itself. If youre hunting something thats part of a herd, the whole group might scatter or move somewhere safer and the monsters remember these encounters. They're pretty smart about using the environment too seeking high ground during storms or finding places to ambush you from
Tip: pay attention to the focus mode since it helps you spot those weak points youve created. The more you exploit these spots the more the monster adapts its fighting style which creates this back-and-forth where youre both learning from each other. Some monsters might even completely change their attack patterns when they're badly wounded, making each hunt feel different as they react to what youre doing
These creatures don't just forget either they'll remember safe zones and dangerous areas making the whole ecosystem feel alive. It's not just about hitting them until they fall over its about understanding how they adapt and using that knowledge to your advantage
The unbridled force of nature runs wild and relentless, with environments transforming drastically from one moment to the next. This is a story of monsters and humans and their struggles to live in harmony in a world of duality.
