So Xu Dog shows up in a few spots during Chapter 2 and hes definitely worth tracking down. First youll spot him hanging out in this little ditch under a wooden bridge near Sandgate Village, and if you follow the tunnel to the right youll find him just chilling there. He needs help getting this formula back from this weird frog called Lang-Li-Guhh-Baw thats hanging out in a nearby pool - pretty straightforward stuff really.

After you help him out, he moves to this cellar under the Crouching Tiger Temple but getting there is a bit tricky. Youll need to beat the Tiger Vanguard first and get these two items, the Keeness of Tiger and Sterness of Stone (you can grab that second one from the Stone Vanguard near Rockrest Flat). Once you have both, head back to the temple and use them at the altar up top which drains all the blood from the arena, pretty cool actually. Follow that new passage and boom theres Xu Dog in the cellar. Later on, he moves one more time to the Ruyi Scroll area - just head down from Turtle Island to the beach and go left, cant miss it.

Something interesting I found out - you might wanna make finding him a priority since he lets you craft these Celestial Pills at his furnace using Mind Cores, and they permanently boost your stats which is super helpful. Really makes a difference when youre trying to build your character the way you want.
