Hey there! The best spot for Flame Ore is definitely around the Fallen Furnace Crater during Chapter 5, and there's a few solid ways to get your hands on it. First off you'll want to head to the Fallen Furnace Crater Shrine then take that downward path on the left until you see those red glowing patches on the ground where those pesky Flamlings pop up. These little fire guys are probably your most reliable source, and they drop the ore pretty often when you take them down.

Something interesting to know is that you can actually summon a bigger target if you're up for it. Find that orange glowing spot on the ground, drop four pieces of Flame Ore there, and you'll call out the Mother of Flamlings. She's tough but worth it since you'll definitely get some Flame Ore when you beat her, plus there's usually some fixed pickup spots around her arena that you can grab.

The whole crater area is basically your best bet for farming, and those Flamlings tend to show up in groups which makes things easier. Maybe worth knowing that if you've got any gear that helps with item drops or resource gathering you should definitely throw that on while you're farming. The fixed spots where you find the ore actually come back pretty quick so you can sort of make a circle around the area, hitting the Flamling spots while waiting for the other spots to reset.

Some folks say they've gotten drops from other fire enemies outside the crater but honestly, it's not really worth your time.
