The first five chapters have most of the missable stuff so really take your time here. The Auspicious Lantern is probably the trickiest one since you need to grab it before dealing with those nine Lantern Wardens and Captain Wise-Voice in the Pagoda area, so check every corner before big fights. Some Curios are hiding in secret spots that lock off after story events, and once youre past them theres no going back until a new playthrough.

Maybe interesting for PC players, you can make backup saves before major story points just to be safe. Console folks will want to stick close to a guide since you cant do that. The good news is that beating certain quests actually gives you more Curio slots later, up to four total, so missing something isnt the end of the world. Those secret areas in each chapter, though, they're really worth finding since they often have unique Curios that help with getting the secret ending and making stronger builds.

Good to know about those special quest Curios too especially from the Purple Talisman stuff and Chen Loong's whole questline which you need for extra slots. Most players say missing Curios wont wreck your run completely, but if youre trying to get everything in one go youll want to explore real careful before any big story moments or boss fights.
