Head to Shen Monkey first in either Zodiac Village or near Marsh of White Mist Keeper's Shrine to get started with upgrades youll need nine healing charges before going for Supreme.

The real upgrade happens in Chapter 5 so dont stress about rushing it early game. Once you make it to Rakshasa Palace Keeper's Shrine cross that first bridge until you see the huge yaoguai guards near the lava, then jump in and head left to find a small shrine with an old man. Talk to him and grab that orange-red flame in the middle to transform your gourd. Getting to ten healing charges is definitely worth the trouble especially for the tough fights coming up in later areas.

Good to know that the healing speed stays the same, but having that extra charge makes a big difference when youre dealing with multiple encounters. Might be interesting that you can combine the upgraded gourd with different drinks and soaks for some really good healing combos just make sure you've collected enough Luojia Fragrant Vines for the earlier upgrades first. The Medicine Buddha Gourd needs to be maxed before you can even think about Supreme, so focus on finding those vines while exploring.

If youve already made it to Chapter 5 and got nine charges, definitely grab this upgrade before taking on the main challenges, since those extra heals will save your life more than once when dealing with the tougher enemies ahead.
