So this fight can be pretty tough until you figure out the horn breaking mechanic but dont worry its actually not too bad once you get the timing down.

The main thing youll want to focus on is building up those Focus points for heavy attacks since thats really the key to breaking that horn. I learned the hard way that light attacks just dont cut it here. What works really well is staying right in front of the Rhino to bait out those charge attacks, and then dodging them to build up your Focus meter.

Once you dodge those charges youll notice the Rhino gets stunned for a few seconds, which is exactly when you want to unleash those heavy attacks right on the horn. A tip that helped me is to position yourself just slightly in front after dodging since it gives you the perfect angle to hit that horn while staying pretty safe. Something interesting I found out is that the horn actually regenerates if youre not aggressive enough so dont hold back when you create those openings.

Just keep building Focus by dodging attacks, and when you see your chance go all in with those heavy hits. Once you finally break that horn, the fight gets way easier since the Rhino loses most of its defenses. The Gold Suozi Armor you get afterward is totally worth all the trouble, especially since it used to belong to Sun Wukong which is pretty cool. Just remember to keep your Focus up, and youll get this down in no time.
