Head to the Pagoda Realm in Chapter 3 and focus on taking out all 9 Wardens while the curse is active you'll know its happening when the music gets intense and your health drops to half. Start at the first floor where youll find two Wardens pretty close together near the Lower Pagoda Keepers Shrine.

From there, turn left after leaving the shrine and go through the metal gate to find wardens three and four hanging out nearby. The fifth ones easy to spot right in front of Upper Pagoda Keepers Shrine, just keep walking forward a bit.

For wardens six through eight look for the wooden ramp from Upper Shrine, cross over and youll find them grouped together, pretty convenient actually. The last ones tricky but head to Mani Wheel shrine, ignore the Captain Wise-Voice room and backtrack to the entrance, follow the path past the wooden ramp and drop down twice to find number nine. Good to know that the game doesnt track which ones youve killed, so maybe keep a mental count as you go.

Tip: the Turtle Tear Soak Curio helps a ton if youre struggling, since it gives you mana back at full health. Once you take them all down, youll get the Auspicious Lantern Curio automatically, which gives some really nice stat boosts for later fights.
