Get the Wind Tamer first from Fuban in Sahali area after doing the Boar-Man stuff its really important since it blocks wind damage. Stay close to him when fighting, dodge sideways instead of back when he spins his staff or makes tornados its easier that way. The Pillar Stance helps a lot with dodging just remember his sand attacks have bigger reach than they look. Rock Solid parry works on basic attacks, but timing is tricky and when he makes clones watch which one moves first thats the real one.

Save your transformations for when you need quick escape or distance closing, and that Immobilize spell works great after his big attacks when hes tired. Dont get too aggressive with hits, stick to quick combos and watch your stamina. His basic staff patterns are good to learn first, since they give you the best chance to counter and when he does the tornado thing thats your chance to get some good hits in. Wind Tamer can stun him during wind effects, really helpful when things get messy and remember staying close actually makes him easier to handle than fighting at range.
