Eastern side works best with natural choke spots between the trees and cliffs, really good for setting up a base there. Found a sweet defensive setup near two entry points that funnel everything into nice narrow paths, makes dealing with hordes way easier. Anywhere you can force them single file is perfect, using broken walls or dense forest areas since you can stack your aoe damage without getting flanked. Tip worth noting - the tighter the passage, the better control youll have over those nasty swarms coming through. Natural bottlenecks near ruins work amazing too, just make sure youve got enough space to back up if things get messy.

Rough terrain is actually your friend here, since you can use all those narrow spots between cliffs to control the fight better. Most folks miss it but setting up near terrain features gives you way better chances, especially when multiple enemies start rushing in at once
