alternate title: should i just plant them all?

Let me break it down for you! Get some fruit trees going early since they take a while to grow, but trust me its worth the wait. For easy money i usually plant cherry and apricot in spring, peach and orange in summer and definitely grab a pomegranate for fall. If youve unlocked ginger island, bananas are pretty sweet for year-round income.
The regular trees are super helpful too and you can actually plant them closer together than fruit trees which is nice. I like to keep a nice mix of oak maple and pine going, since youll need their saps for crafting later on. Mahogany is great too once you can get it, really helps with that hardwood supply.
Something interesting i found out is that fruit trees need a full 3x3 space around them to grow, but once theyre grown you can actually put paths down to stop debris from spawning. The greenhouse is amazing for fruit trees if you can spare the space, and they produce every single day in there. I usually try to get at least one of each type planted early on, since the fruit quality gets better each year which is pretty cool. Regular trees are way more flexible with spacing though just remember to leave enough room to walk between them for harvesting those tree products
