So pineapples are really great for making consistent money, and getting started is pretty straightforward. You can get your first seeds from the island trader for just one magma cap, or if you're feeling adventurous, try hunting some hot heads and tiger slimes in the volcano dungeon, they sometimes drop them. Once you've got your setup going on ginger island (which is perfect since it's always summer there), you'll want to arrange everything in a nice grid with some iridium sprinklers.

The nice thing about pineapples is they take 14 days to grow at first, and then keep producing every 7 days after that. If you're feeling fancy, throw some deluxe speed-gro on there to knock it down to 11 days for the first harvest. A lot of players don't realize this, but you can actually time your keg production to match perfectly with the harvests.

For making the most money, you've got options. The fruit sells pretty well on its own, but if you're patient, turning them into wine is where the real profit is. Looking at around 900 to 1800 gold per bottle, and even more if you've got the artisan profession. Jelly works too if you're short on kegs, brings in about 650 gold each.

Something worth mentioning - if you haven't unlocked ginger island yet, the greenhouse works just fine. Just remember to save some pineapples for the seed maker, it'll help you expand without spending more on seeds. With a decent setup of about 192 plants, you're looking at roughly 56,000 gold every week, which isn't too shabby at all.
