can somebody explain how the tavern brawler feat help with throwing builds? i think its pretty promising but i need to justify and compare whether or not im going to switch to that build or stay at my current one thanks a bunch
Only_Fangs
For thrown builds tavern brawler multiplies Strength bonuses, doubling both attack and damage rolls with thrown weapons. Straight-forward choice that instantly boosts your throwing game when you pick it at level 4. Works really well with everything that has a throw property and even random objects you find lying around
A few solid options to consider, actually. Berserkers get that sweet enraged throw ability which knocks enemies prone while monks can mix it up with their flurry of blows attacks. If you're running an eldritch knight, weapon bond means your thrown weapons come right back to you, which is pretty neat
Maybe interesting to know that it stacks with special effects too, like lightning charges or that ring of flinging everyone talks about. The bonus you get from strength applies twice so if you've got decent strength going already you'll see some crazy damage numbers. Plus, you get that +1 to either strength or constitution which helps round out odd stats
Just remember it works with literally anything you can throw - daggers, javelins, that returning pike from act 1, even chairs or other characters if you're feeling creative. Combined with the right equipment and class features, you'll be dealing some serious damage from range while still keeping those strength benefits
Baldur’s Gate 3 is a story-rich, party-based RPG set in the universe of Dungeons & Dragons, where your choices shape a tale of fellowship and betrayal, survival and sacrifice, and the lure of absolute power.

for example i want wyll to be able to use magic that gale uses despite him being a warlock - so basically the difference would probably lie on their cantrips and spells??? kind of confused need help
