just how important is the lucky feat - i skipped this feat and focused on combat oriented ones

Let me break down how this fantastic feat works in practice because it's actually quite powerful for those crucial story moments. You get 3 luck points (they come back after resting) and these can really save your behind when those important dialogue checks or skill tests come up. The way it works is pretty straightforward, when you fail a roll that really matters, you can basically say "hang on let me try that again" and get a second chance, which is honestly super helpful for those make-or-break story moments.
Something interesting to keep in mind - you don't even need to use up your reaction to do this, so you can still keep that ready for other stuff. The system lets you see what you rolled first before deciding to use your luck, which makes it really strategic (maybe save those points for the really important conversations you care about).
Just keep an eye out for a few things though because nothing's perfect. You've only got those 3 chances before you need to rest, and even with a reroll there's always a chance things won't go your way. There's also been some funny business with concentration checks and enemy crits not playing nice with the feat, but that might get sorted out eventually. Honestly though, for those moments when you really need to convince someone important or spot something crucial to the story, having lucky in your back pocket can make all the difference.
Baldur’s Gate 3 is a story-rich, party-based RPG set in the universe of Dungeons & Dragons, where your choices shape a tale of fellowship and betrayal, survival and sacrifice, and the lure of absolute power.

for example i want wyll to be able to use magic that gale uses despite him being a warlock - so basically the difference would probably lie on their cantrips and spells??? kind of confused need help
