can somebody help me understand legendary actions in bg3 thanks

To understand legendary actions in boss fights, you really need to pay attention to how each major encounter throws different mechanics at you. Take someone like the owlbear mother, who'll call in her mate when things get rough, compared to auntie ethel who loves making copies of herself to mess with your head. Its pretty interesting how these abilities change as you progress through the story too.
The earlier bosses like the bulette are tough enough with their leaping static, but when you get to someone like gortash with his tyrannical branding, or raphael and his demonic tricks, things get way more intense. A good thing to remember is that each boss has their own rhythm to how often they use these abilities some might trigger once per round while others save up for specific moments.
Something that makes these fights really engaging is how each legendary action fits the boss's personality like cazador using vampire swarms matches his whole undead theme, and orin's deathbringer assault is exactly what youd expect from someone called the deathstalker. The key to surviving is figuring out the right counter for each boss maybe avoid clustering against those who do area attacks, or keep a silence spell ready for the magic users. Some of these fights might seem impossible at first, but once you figure out their patterns, youll start seeing ways to work around their strongest moves and turn the fight in your favor.
Baldur’s Gate 3 is a story-rich, party-based RPG set in the universe of Dungeons & Dragons, where your choices shape a tale of fellowship and betrayal, survival and sacrifice, and the lure of absolute power.

for example i want wyll to be able to use magic that gale uses despite him being a warlock - so basically the difference would probably lie on their cantrips and spells??? kind of confused need help
