So basically youre starting with 9 skill slots which might not sound like much at first, but its actually pretty decent once you get used to working with it. Each of those skills can get boosted with up to 5 support gems, which gives you lots of room to get creative with your build.

If youre worried about being limited, theres actually some neat ways to get more slots. The mercenary class is pretty interesting, cause if you go for the gemling legionnaire path you can squeeze out another 3 slots, bringing you up to 12 which is pretty sweet. There are also some special rings and items that can give you extra slots if you really need them.

The way I see it, having a limit actually makes you think more about what skills you really want to use instead of just throwing everything on at once. Plus, from what i hear the devs are keeping an eye on feedback during early access, so they might tweak things if people feel too restricted.
