Yes, the original roster is making a comeback, well most of it anyway! You'll see six familiar faces returning because these archetypes really proved themselves over time (and they're wonderfully balanced for different playstyles). The marauder, ranger, witch, duelist, shadow, and templar are all there, each bringing their signature attributes but with some fascinating new twists.

Something worth noting is that each of these returning champions now comes with three specialized ascendancy paths, which really opens up your build possibilities. The combat system has evolved too - you'll find it's more about combining different skills now, rather than just spamming your favorite ability (this makes for much more engaging gameplay, trust me).

One interesting detail that might catch veterans off guard - the scion isn't coming back this time around. But don't worry too much about that, because the new skill system actually lets every class access pretty much any ability they want. Just keep in mind that when you first jump in, you'll only have access to some of these classes, with others becoming available as development continues (always good to set expectations right).
