Starting out you'll want to watch for the newly revamped skill gem setup which is way easier to handle now since it's not tied to your gear anymore. The timing on movement abilities feels much smoother with wasd controls, and when you're fighting bosses you'll notice the improved telegraph patterns making it easier to spot incoming attacks. A really useful change is how respeccing works, just use gold instead of hunting down those orbs which makes experimenting with builds much more forgiving.

Combat visibility is definitely clearer than before especially with the reduced effect clutter, but there are still some tricky spots to watch out for. During intense fights with lots of enemies, positioning becomes extra important since some visual effects can still stack up and make things hard to track. Keep in mind there's no colorblind support yet so if you're having trouble distinguishing certain effects you might need to rely more on sound cues and animation patterns.

The console controls are pretty solid now with better item filtering, and if you're using a controller the interface feels much more natural than before. Just remember that for some of the tougher encounters, you'll want to pay extra attention to enemy animations since the high-contrast visibility isn't perfect yet, particularly during the more chaotic moments when multiple effects stack up.
