i rarely ask for lore stuff in this community so im curious does the game explain his artifacts?
Spartan_Rage
The blades of chaos play a huge part in the early conversations, especially when mimir asks about them and youll get a good look at their history. Watch for the distinct animation when kratos pulls them out, since theres a unique interaction where he explains how theyre cursed weapons that always return to him. Really interesting detail about his old powers too - all that greek magic and lightning stuff doesnt work anymore since that whole world got destroyed. Positioning with the blades is still crucial though just like the old days.
Maybe interesting bit about the combat training too, when atreus asks about spartan techniques - kratos gets really specific about why he wont teach those brutal methods. Its a pretty significant moment that shows up during one of the quieter sections, and the dialog changes depending on how much youve explored. The way the game handles these old artifacts is clever since it ties everything back to the greek era without making them feel out of place in the norse setting.
Fimbulwinter is well underway. Kratos and Atreus must journey to each of the Nine Realms in search of answers as Asgardian forces prepare for a prophesied battle that will end the world. Along the way they will explore stunning, mythical landscapes, and face fearsome enemies in the form of Norse gods and monsters. The threat of Ragnarök grows ever closer. Kratos and Atreus must choose between their own safety and the safety of the realms.
