Stones definitely work on god mode difficulty, and theyre actually super important since checkpoints dont exist in boss fights. Worth keeping at least one in your pocket, since enemies hit like trucks and bosses can one-shot if youre not careful. Getting caught without one during those bigger fights usually means starting over completely which is brutal. Might be interesting to know some players do no-stone runs but honestly thats just making life harder than it needs to be.

Good idea to save them for those really nasty encounters, especially when youre up against multiple tough enemies at once. Most deaths happen when you get mobbed or caught in a boss combo, so having that backup plan makes a huge difference. When you do use one, make sure youre in a safe spot cause enemies will definitely try to punish your revive animation.
