Green dragon crescent blade is definitely the way to go, no comparison really since its built right into his character design from the start. When using the guandao you get those amazing sweep attacks perfect for clearing groups, and the reach is just incredible for keeping distance. The podao works fine as a backup but honestly, the iconic dragon blade gives you better crowd control plus its way more satisfying to use.

Most players stick with the green dragon through the whole game cause the moveset just flows better, and you can pull off those signature spinning attacks that look amazing. Good to know the blade gets some nice variants in later games but the base version is already super strong when you upgrade it. The historical connection makes it feel more authentic too which is pretty interesting if youre into that sort of thing.
