talking about upgrades + the difference each upgrade makes in the game terrain
HumanGourmet
The bike setup really depends on where youre riding and I've found that different areas need different approaches. For forests and hills youll want a solid engine upgrade and good suspension, and I usually go with high-traction tires since they handle the mud way better. Its also worth getting a quieter exhaust cause those freakers can be a real pain when youre trying to move around quietly
For snowy areas and mountains I always make sure to have nitrous installed, its literally a lifesaver on those steep climbs. The all-terrain tires are pretty much essential here and having a reinforced frame helps when things get bumpy. If youre spending time on highways and open roads, speed is your friend so focus on engine power and nitrous, with some decent performance tires to keep things stable
Urban areas are tricky cause theres lots of tight spots and debris to deal with. Good handling and suspension make a huge difference here, and I've noticed the lighter builds help you zip around corners better. For desert areas and canyons, definitely grab those off-road tires, and make sure you've got a decent fuel tank cause getting stranded out there is no fun
Something interesting I've learned is that keeping good relationships with the camps really pays off for upgrades. Places like copelands and iron mikes will hook you up with better parts once they trust you more. Just remember to keep some scrap on hand for repairs, and always top up your fuel when you can cause you never know when youll need it
The whole setup thing might seem complicated at first but once you get a feel for what works where, it starts making sense. Just play around with different combinations and see what fits your style best
Ride and fight into a deadly, post pandemic America. Play as Deacon St. John, a drifter and bounty hunter who rides the broken road, fighting to survive while searching for a reason to live in this open-world action-adventure game.
