farming hordes well i need to unlock some skills quests and even items so any efficient way to locate and deal with em brainless npcs?
break2x
Start with the smaller hordes around cascades region near white king mine and death train, they're good practice before tackling the bigger ones. You'll want explosives and some decent guns, plus making sure you've got enough crafting materials since running out mid-fight is rough. The motorcycle comes in really handy for quick getaways, so keep it fueled and nearby when you're scouting.
Most hordes hang around caves and old train cars during the day, makes them easier to spot while you're planning things out. Places like rimview ranch and mt bailey are perfect for setting up traps, since you can funnel them through tight spots and use the environment. Tip: those red fuel tanks and propane tanks are basically free explosives waiting to help you out.
Moving through the regions makes sense since each area kind of builds up in difficulty. Your stamina upgrades are going to be lifesavers, especially when you're trying to keep ahead of the bigger groups in crater lake and highway 97. Save your game before taking them on, and don't feel bad about checking out their patrol routes first - better to know what you're getting into. Making noise to pull small chunks away from the main group works pretty well if you're patient, and remember those narrow passages between buildings are perfect for thinning them out with explosives and traps.
Ride and fight into a deadly, post pandemic America. Play as Deacon St. John, a drifter and bounty hunter who rides the broken road, fighting to survive while searching for a reason to live in this open-world action-adventure game.
