are there specific missions that result in this quest item or purchasable from camps/settlements
HumanGourmet
First thing youll need to do is make your way to wizard island camp, which opens up during that riding nomad again mission. Its actually pretty straightforward from there, but youll need to build up some trust with the camp first.
Been there myself and i can tell you that getting to trust level 2 is the main thing youre looking for, plus youll need about 3000 credits saved up. The merchant there has it listed under the special weapons, and trust me its worth every credit. Really comes in handy when youre dealing with those bigger threats out in the wild.
One thing that's pretty useful to know, you can actually upgrade the magazine once you hit trust level 3 for another 1500 credits. Makes a huge difference when youre trying to take down hordes or those heavily armored enemies from a distance. Just make sure youve completed that i don't have a pic mission first, otherwise youll be stuck waiting to access everything the camp has to offer. You can grab it from your bike locker once you've got it, and honestly, its a game-changer for those tough situations.
Ride and fight into a deadly, post pandemic America. Play as Deacon St. John, a drifter and bounty hunter who rides the broken road, fighting to survive while searching for a reason to live in this open-world action-adventure game.
