how do you guys deal with the scarcity of bike fuels while traveling? im really worried about going on foot and its not like fast travel is helping me lol
HumanGourmet
Managing your bike's fuel isn't too tricky once you get the hang of it. I've found the best approach is keeping an eye on that fuel gauge near your minimap, since it drains pretty fast when you're cruising around. The red jerry cans scattered around are lifesavers, and you'll definitely want to remember where the permanent fuel stations are, especially the one at o'leary mountain which has saved my behind more than once.
Something i learned the hard way - you can't actually repair the bike yourself out in the field. You'll need to visit the mechanics at camps, which honestly isn't cheap but it's worth every credit. While you're there, try to grab some fuel tank upgrades when you can afford them, they make life so much easier later on.
A little tip that's helped me - try to keep a steady speed instead of gunning it everywhere, and use those downhill sections to your advantage by just coasting down. If you do run completely dry, don't panic - you can always leave the bike temporarily and come back for it later. Just remember where you parked! I usually try to plan my routes around known fuel spots until i've got those sweet tank upgrades, makes everything way more manageable.
