When you reach the boosting sequence youll need precise timing and positioning to get it right. The yellow markers on your minimap lead to interaction spots, and youll see a square button prompt when youre in the right spot to boost or get boosted up. Before starting any boost sequence, clear out nearby threats first since the animation leaves you vulnerable, and molotovs work great for groups of infected that might interrupt you.

Position yourself right against the wall or ledge where the prompt appears, and make sure your partner is lined up correctly before hitting square. After the boost watch for respawning enemies especially near containers or supply caches that you might want to loot. Good spot to mention that keeping your weapons maintained and bike fueled up is critical since these sequences often lead to intense fights. The recovery window right after completing a boost is pretty short so be ready to move or shoot as soon as you regain control, and always check above for any infected that might drop down while youre distracted with the climbing mechanics. Sometimes backing off and clearing the area again is smarter than rushing the boost if too many enemies show up.
