talking about individual parts maybe the recoil muzzle and that gun stuff. or would we rather replace em instead?
HumanGourmet
So the weapon system is pretty straightforward once you get into it - its really more about building trust with different camps to unlock better gear rather than tweaking individual parts. You'll start seeing better weapons show up at merchants like copeland's and iron mike's as you help them out, and eventually at wizard island which has some of the really good stuff. The chicago chopper and that sweet . 50 bfg sniper are definitely worth working towards, even if it takes a while to build up enough trust to get them.
Each camp specializes in different gear, and you'll unlock things like extended mags once you get your trust level up high enough. Some guns come with built-in suppressors which is nice, saves having to craft or find them separately. The crossbow's pretty versatile too, especially once you start getting different ammo types to play with.
Something interesting I learned is that you're kind of locked into specific weapon slots - like your main rifle or shotgun goes in the primary slot, pistols are always sidearms, that kind of thing. It might seem limiting at first but honestly, it makes sense once you're out there dealing with hordes and need to know exactly where your weapons are.
Ride and fight into a deadly, post pandemic America. Play as Deacon St. John, a drifter and bounty hunter who rides the broken road, fighting to survive while searching for a reason to live in this open-world action-adventure game.
