So the armor appearance stuff is pretty straightforward but there's not a ton of options in the base game right now. You can definitely play around with dyes which are pretty fun to collect and mix in the combine menu, and they actually show up really nicely in cutscenes too. One thing that's kinda neat is you can swap between your regular armor and camp clothes whenever you want, and don't worry - your stats stay the same no matter what you're showing.

If you're playing on PC, there's this cool mod called Ultimate Transmog that lets you mix and match different armor looks, but console players are stuck with the basics for now. The Magic Mirror at camp is nice for changing up your main character's face and hair, but it won't do anything for armor looks unfortunately.

Tip: some dyes can be pretty hard to find but checking merchants regularly is worth it, especially if you're trying to get your whole party looking coordinated. Lots of players want more customization options so maybe we'll see more stuff added later, but for now these are the main ways to change up your look.
