im teaming up with other clan members. the story goes like me and two of my friends split up to form our own alliances and recruit members from scratch basically build our own faction. since we trust each other we wanted for an alliance between us but we're pretty new to this stuff. need advice

Let me give you a quick rundown of how the alliance stuff works since the new update rolled out. The whole system is actually pretty straightforward now you can team up with another clan and set up some proper agreements which is way better than just hoping everyone keeps their word. I've found its super helpful to get everything in writing with those diplomatic charters, especially when youre sharing resources or planning joint raids.
The cool thing is once you set up an alliance, the game handles most of the technical stuff automatically. Your team systems sync up so you dont have to worry about accidental friendly fire which trust me, has saved me some awkward situations. Just keep in mind you can only ally with one other clan at a time, and those alliance invites wont stay open forever.
Something interesting i noticed is that while the game lets you make these formal agreements, it doesnt actually force anyone to stick to them. So yeah definitely be careful who you trust even with all the fancy new systems in place. Ive seen some really strong alliances dominate servers but also seen plenty fall apart when one side gets greedy. Good to know its all about finding the right balance between cooperation and keeping your own clan safe you know?
The only aim in Rust is to survive. Everything wants you to die - the island’s wildlife, other inhabitants, the environment, and other survivors. Do whatever it takes to last another night.

farming locations are highly preferred like those safe quarries. i cant really buy or trade atm because i just started playing and still getting familiar with the game. i probably would enjoy exploring a little more instead of straight up buying
