The main thing to know is when monsters catch everyone it's not an instant game over situation. Players leave their heads behind when they die and teammates can grab those heads to bring players back either during the mission or between rounds at the van. During the mission, getting revived gives you 25 health which is pretty decent, while automatic revival at the van only gives 1 health making things tougher. If absolutely everyone dies at once though, you won't be able to collect any loot or heads until you're back at the van - the team fails that quota run but at least gets to keep going. Tip - try to avoid having everyone die at the same time since you'll lose whatever loot you gathered.

Things get more challenging in the following rounds after a team wipe, so keeping at least one person alive to rescue others is really important for staying on track with your quotas.
