so besides their reused mechanics from other bosses i dont get the hate with the duo godskin? what's what's up with these

Let me explain why this particular boss encounter tends to frustrate many players (and why some of these design choices actually make sense from a development perspective). When you encounter these two godskin warriors, you're dealing with a fight that's intentionally designed to push your adaptability - this is actually building on mechanics you've seen before, but with an interesting twist.
The shared health bar system means you'll need to plan for a longer engagement, and here's something worth noting: focusing on just one opponent usually backfires because of their respawn mechanic (keeping both at roughly equal health often works better). They're recycled bosses, yes, but that's partially why the noble's rolling attack feels so much more threatening in this confined space - you've got less room to work with than in previous encounters.
You might find it interesting that while many players consider sleep pots "cheese," they're actually an intentional counter-design, similar to how specific tools were crucial in older challenging games. The pillar placement isn't random either - they're specifically positioned to create safe zones during those rolling attacks, though timing your dodges takes practice.
The fight becomes much more manageable once you understand that it's meant to test resource management more than pure combat skill (this is why the shared health bar exists). Just remember, if you're struggling, there's nothing wrong with using those pillars strategically or bringing in a summon to split their attention - the developers included these options for a reason.
Keep in mind that while the black flame attacks might seem overwhelming at first, they actually telegraph pretty clearly once you know what to watch for (the noble's stance widens slightly before big attacks).
