Here's the breakdown: starscourge beats grafted late game especially with that sweet b-tier strength scaling and dual-wield trick when two-handed. Pull enemies in with starcaller cry, then slam em down for massive damage, works great if you've got the stats for it. Grafted isn't bad, mind you, but that c scaling just doesn't keep up when things get tough.

Getting either one is pretty straightforward but timing matters. Grab grafted early from leonine misbegotten if you need something solid right away, while starscourge needs you to take down radahn first which is rough before level 80. Tip: throw on shard of alexander with starscourge, bumps the damage up real nice.

Once you're set up right, starscourge just hits different with that 2500+ damage combo while grafted tops out around 1900, even with good gear. Plus those faster crouch attacks after the patch really sealed the deal, just watch those stat requirements cause you'll need some int too.
