So the rivers of blood katana is pretty much everywhere in pvp these days, and i totally get why. That corpse piler skill is just ridiculous, especially with how it shoots those blood trails that can catch people from surprisingly far away. I've seen so many players just demolish others with it, even after the nerfs.

The thing that makes it really nasty is how it stacks bleed so quickly, especially if you pump up your arcane stat. Like, every hit is basically putting your opponent on a timer, and once that blood loss kicks in, there goes a huge chunk of their health. Pretty wild when you think about it.

What i find interesting is that you don't even need some crazy specialized build to make it work. You just need some basic stats, and you're good to go. A lot of people pair it with that lord of blood's exultation talisman, which honestly just makes it even more brutal when the bleed procs.

If you're tired of getting destroyed by it though, i've found that wearing heavy armor helps a ton, and if you're feeling brave, you can try parrying it. The real trick i've learned is to dodge towards them instead of away - sounds crazy but trust me it works. Just make sure you time it right or you'll eat that whole combo.

Btw if you want to grab one yourself, just find okina at the church of repose up in the mountains. Just be ready for a fight cause he's not exactly giving it away for free!
