Like take guan yu and zhang fei, theyre absolutely ride-or-die for liu bei cause of this whole brotherhood oath thing they made, while someone like lu bu is just out there switching sides whenever he feels like it.

I've noticed the really loyal ones usually stick around cause of personal connections, like how zhou tai and han dang stayed with the sun family through thick and thin. Pretty cool how some characters are all about their beliefs too, like zhao yun who's super protective of regular people and fights for those ideals.

The game does this neat thing where some characters switch sides cause it happened in actual history, like zhang liao ending up with cao cao after lu bu got defeated. Makes the story more interesting when you're playing, especially since you can sometimes change how things play out in different story modes. Plus, you can tell a lot about characters just by their weapons - the loyal ones usually have these signature weapons they're known for, while the betrayers tend to have these really intimidating ones that match their personality.

Its actually pretty cool how they balance staying true to the historical stuff while still making it work as a game, kinda makes you appreciate both the history and the creative choices they made with these characters.
