When you need to swap out chrome just visit any ripperdoc in the city, and you'll see all your installed hardware in the cyberware menu. Use the middle mouse on pc or whatever your console's unequip button is to remove stuff which puts it right into your inventory without giving money back. Something interesting to remember, if you're messing with arm mods you might need to equip regular fists after or your character might look a bit weird

Since the 2.0 update made everything way smoother you don't need any special mods or tricks anymore but keep an eye on your capacity limits cause each piece of chrome takes up space. You can always sell unwanted gear back to the docs to get some eddies which is pretty helpful when you're trying out different builds. Just remember that managing your loadout carefully is important, especially when you're trying to optimize for specific playstyles or missions
