So i've played around with different builds and heres what works best whether youre going solo or running with friends. For solo play, you definitely want painted power since it lets you break through that damage cap, which is pretty much essential no matter how you play. Then theres energising parry, which is a total game changer when youre alone, trust me. Every time you nail a parry, your ap bar fills right back up which is super helpful when theres no one around to watch your back.

Playing with friends is a different story though. While everyone who's doing damage should still grab painted power, you can get way more creative with your setup. Its actually really fun to mix things up where some people focus on dealing damage while others keep the team alive and buffed. A neat trick i found is using those lumina points you get after winning four battles to stack different effects, especially when your team coordinates their builds.

Something interesting i noticed is that the game really rewards you for trying different combinations. Like when youre solo youll probably lean more towards those damage and ap focused builds but in a group you can experiment a lot more. The merchant has some good pictos worth checking out and dont forget to upgrade your stuff at the camp, makes a huge difference especially when youre trying new strategies.
