Unlike those serene haiku spots youre thinking of theres actually something called hidden trails which are pretty interesting parkour challenges scattered around the provinces. You can only do these as naoe, and theyre marked by white question marks that turn orange when youre close by.

The trails are all about showing off your movement skills, with ten different courses that reward you with some really nice epic gear, xp and knowledge points for your trouble. While youre exploring places like iga or wakasa, keep an eye out for yellow markers and ribbons that guide you through each course, though its definitely easier to spot them during daytime or summer seasons.

Each trail feels different from the others, like the path of shadows near nabari wilds, or the path of wisdom up by mount uchinakao. You can tackle them in any order you want, and theyre actually a nice break from all the fighting, giving you a chance to really master the movement mechanics. Just remember to watch for those white question marks on your map, and maybe interesting to note that some of the gear you can get includes unique pieces like tamakichis hood.
