are there like for example visual tearing if i play with vr mods? my pc can handle gta 5 well for reference which i believe is more demanding with processing power so i should be able to handle w3

The performance hit from vr is pretty noticeable, even on beefy systems like an rtx 3080 where you're looking at around 35 40 frames instead of the usual smooth gameplay. Getting things running well means making some choices, since youre basically asking the system to render everything twice for each eye. Turning off ray tracing is basically a must and switching to dx11 helps a ton with stability, plus you might want to drop those texture settings down to halk instead of ultra.
Good to know: the real challenge comes from keeping those frame rates high enough to avoid motion sickness, which means being smart about shadow quality and anti aliasing settings. A good approach is starting with everything on low, then slowly turning up what you can handle while keeping an eye on performance. Most people find they need to run significantly lower settings in vr compared to regular play, but thats just the nature of pushing all those extra pixels.
Remember those next gen features like global illumination look amazing on a regular screen but they're usually the first things you'll need to sacrifice for smooth vr gameplay. Even enthusiast hardware struggles a bit here so don't feel bad about needing to dial things back.

quite worried because i heard how most optional quests and main quests are almost intertwined to each other! i remember rdr2 having the same plot and gameplay and tbh id rather not repeat the whole game
