Let me walk you through attribute prioritization - it's actually quite fascinating how this system works (because your early choices really shape your character's potential). Starting with endurance is almost always your best first move, since it determines your health gains at each level and those gains stack up over time.
For warrior types, you'll want to pair that endurance focus with strength right away, because it directly impacts how much damage you'll do with those melee weapons (and trust me, you'll appreciate being able to carry more loot). A good pattern here is to alternate between these two until you're comfortable with your survivability, then branch into agility.
If you're going the magic route, intelligence should be your constant companion, since it determines your total magic pool (interesting how this mirrors real-world learning in a way). Willpower helps with your destruction and restoration effectiveness, though don't neglect endurance entirely - even mages need to take a hit now and then.
For the sneaky types among us, agility is your bread and butter, affecting everything from sneaking to picking locks (which makes sense when you think about the fine motor control needed). Speed comes in handy when things go wrong, and they will go wrong sometimes.
Here's something many players overlook - those 12 virtue points you get per level are precious resources. Think of them like investing in your character's future. For hybrid builds, like spellswords, try spreading points between your main attributes while keeping endurance in the mix (maybe interesting: race bonuses can help offset any attributes you're not focusing on immediately).
Remember, while these guidelines are solid starting points, your personal playstyle might call for different priorities, and that's perfectly fine. The key is understanding why each attribute matters and planning accordingly.

any tips on stacking resistance to physical and magic damage in oblivion remastered? i know its possible in the original game

so in the original oblivion there is this stacking weakness to magic which really buffs up your magic damage and ik this is one of the best strategies when dealing with bosses and tanky enemies. idk if it exists or not but i also heard one discord member yapping about how its broken but its boring at the same time (we both agree cuz i want to go melee mode)
