how does the level/power scaling work exactly in oblivion remastered? what are all the changes/overhaul to the mechanic i'm still confused by how it works at all

The leveling mechanics got a total overhaul that makes life way easier. When you're allocating attributes, just pick what you want instead of juggling those old multipliers - works a lot like skyrim now. Every skill you use actually matters for leveling up, and you'll notice major skills are more about roleplaying your character than minmaxing stats. Used to be you'd have to plan every single skill increase carefully, timing everything just right to get those perfect attribute gains but that's gone now which is honestly such a relief.
Enemies still scale with you though which is kinda frustrating since that was one of the original's biggest issues. The system works differently now - you've got these seven major skills you can customize, and the whole thing flows more naturally when you're just playing how you want. Tip that might help: don't worry about maximizing stats anymore, just focus on the skills that match your playstyle and let the attributes come naturally. Good to know the recovery times after enemy attacks stay pretty consistent even as they level up with you, so you can still develop reliable combat patterns.

any tips on stacking resistance to physical and magic damage in oblivion remastered? i know its possible in the original game

so in the original oblivion there is this stacking weakness to magic which really buffs up your magic damage and ik this is one of the best strategies when dealing with bosses and tanky enemies. idk if it exists or not but i also heard one discord member yapping about how its broken but its boring at the same time (we both agree cuz i want to go melee mode)
