what are your thoughts on having a really versatile all rounder build versus being extremely good in one area of playstyle?
Cheese-Atrocity
The central idea is that both focused and varied playstyles work really well, it just depends on what you enjoy more. If you're thinking about specializing in one area like magic or swordplay youll get some nice advantages, especially since those main skills level up faster and you'll start stronger with racial bonuses. Pretty straightforward approach that lets you get really good at what you do.
Here's something interesting though - the remastered version actually makes it easier to mix things up than before. You can totally be that battlemage who switches between fireballs and sword swings, or maybe sneak around with a bow and some magic tricks up your sleeve. They've smoothed out a lot of the old penalties that used to make jack-of-all-trades builds harder to pull off, and now everything you do helps you level up properly.
Tip for new players - try starting with one main focus but don't be afraid to experiment a bit as you go. The game rewards both dedicated specialists and creative hybridizers, so there's no wrong choice really just different ways to tackle the challenges ahead.

any tips on stacking resistance to physical and magic damage in oblivion remastered? i know its possible in the original game

so in the original oblivion there is this stacking weakness to magic which really buffs up your magic damage and ik this is one of the best strategies when dealing with bosses and tanky enemies. idk if it exists or not but i also heard one discord member yapping about how its broken but its boring at the same time (we both agree cuz i want to go melee mode)
