Castle of Illusion
Defeating the Chocolate Boss:
Each time the boss hits the wall, four pieces of chocolate will falls.
Pick up the one that remains and throw it at him. With practice you
can finish him off in less than 15 seconds.
Extra Lives:
In level 4 enter the coffee cup screen. Exit the coffee cup and jump
across the three rotating platforms until you reach the first dancing
Letter A. Climb the ladder to the left of the screen until you reach a
room with two bugs, a button, and a barrel. Kill the bugs by throwing
the barrel and the button. The button disappears but you can use the
barrel to climb up the ladder on the right side of the screen. You'll
enter a screen where there's another bug to the right.
Kill the bug by jumping on it and continue to the right until you
reach a second dancing Letter A. Pass the Letter A and keep going
right. You'll come upon a tiny drop in the floor that looks like it
was made out of wood. The drop is just big enough for Mickey to fit
into. Jump up by pressing Button 2 twice so that Mickey comes down on
his behind. This pops the floor and allows Mickey to enter a secret
room with two treasure chests containing a coin and a free Mickey.
When you finished the level and go to the boss room - you have to go
down a ladder. Jump down the ladder, and hold Left. Eventually Mickey
will stop falling and enter a passage. This passage leads to a secret
room with an additional life chest.
Secret Treasures:
Deep in the forest of level 1 (the far right), you'll find two
treasure chests in the lower-left corner of the screen. Jump on the
right chest, then immediately jump to the right side of the screen.
Two more chests will appear. Jump on them quickly to reveal two
coins worth 2,000 points each!
Toward the end of level 1 you'll find another set of chests. To find
them, pass the cave and go down (to reenter the forest). From here,
go left and do an attack jump. Two more treasure chests with large
coins should appear.
