No Gems:
In Two-Player Mode only, both players should select a fighter, then
press and hold both Start buttons. When the fight Starts, there are no
Infinity Gems, and the words "No Gems" appear at the bottom.

Other Character Color:
For characters on the top row, put the cursor over the character you
want to select, and press and hold Up for five seconds and press any
button. For characters on the bottom row, put the cursor over the
character you want to select, press and hold Down for five seconds,
and press any button. When the match starts, your fighter has a
different color.
